Mission, Vision & Values Our Mission David Livingstone Academy is committed to improving the life chances of all children. Where we have the capacity to make a difference, we are morally bound to do so. Our Vision At David Livingstone we have the highest academic expectations of our pupils. We develop their personal and academic conduct to promote high levels of self-esteem, self-control, self-discipline and self-reliance. We invest in their personal and cultural capital to ensure that they leave David Livingstone Academy with a range of experiences and knowledge that will enable them to engage academically, intellectually and socially with all sections of society and have the potential to lead their communities. Our Values At David Livingstone, part of STEP Academy Trust, we are proud of the education we offer our children and our many successes. We believe passionately that a great education is one of the most precious gifts a child can receive. With a committed and caring community of staff, parents/carers and an active Local Governing Body, we work hard to provide a high quality education for all our children in our exciting Academy. We also have French lessons for all our pupils and provide specialist sports provision. Providing a rich and creative curriculum is something our school community is very proud of.
